It gives me a great pleasure to extend greetings and a warm welcome to everyone attending the 8^TH National Medical Education Conference, organized by Vietnam Association for Medical Education (VAME) and hosted by VinUniversity. I am honoured to to lead this prestigious gathering as Provost cum Dean of the College of Health Sciences at VinUniversity.

Welcome to all prospective attendees who are going to attend this conference with the theme of “Strategic Alliance: Health Education and Professional Practice” on Novemeber 16th, 2024 at VinUniversity. This is the most prestigious annual event in the field of Medical Education in Vietnam, gathering leading experts both domestically and internationally to discuss current issues, exchange teaching methods, research techniques, and showcase the most advanced equipments, learning resources and initiatives to serve the training of healthcare personnel at teaching hospitals and universities in Vietnam. Our aim is to fortify collaboration between educational institutions and healthcare organizations, fostering a synergy that advances the entire healthcare system.

Building upon the remarkable successes of previous conferences, our goal is to sustain this momentum and reaffirm our standing as the preeminent platform for healthcare leaders, professionals, clinicians, policymakers, students, educators, and stakeholders across the country. Foreseeing broad participation, we aspire to attract a diverse assembly of attendees from various disciplines and backgrounds, consolidating our leadership in this crucial field. Your participation and contributions are integral in shaping the nation’s future landscape of medical education.

This year 2024, marking a historic first as it takes place within the esteemed confines of a not-for-profit, private university in Vietnam. Although a newly established institution, we are committed to leading transformative advances in education. Our doors are open wide to extend a gracious welcome, radiating friendliness and warmth to all conference participants.
